YOUR FIRST VISIT
What to Expect
Your first visit to Endodontics of West Chester is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of your needs. We begin with a thorough consultation, reviewing your medical history and discussing your concerns. We then perform a comprehensive examination, including advanced imaging, to accurately diagnose your condition. This allows us to develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses your unique needs and goals.
What to Do
Please bring your referral form and insurance card.
If you have been instructed to pre-medicate with antibiotics prior to dental treatment per the American Heart Association guidelines, please take your dose at least 1 hour prior to your visit.
What to ask for
When scheduling your first appointment at our office, ask about our comfort menu and sedation options. We understand that Endodontic procedures can cause anxiety, and that is why we offer a variety of comforting options, from sound-canceling headphones to oral anti-anxiety medications and nitrous oxide, allowing you to choose the level of relaxation that feels right for you.
Financial Policy
Financial Policy
We are happy to help you navigate your dental insurance benefits whether we are in or out of network with your contracted insurance provider. Please call our office at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to verify your insurance coverage and allow us to provide you with an estimate of your copayment or deductible.
As dental insurance reimbursement can differ when you are seeing a specialist versus your general dentist, please be aware that we will do our best to provide you with an estimate of what your insurance will be likely to cover for endodontic therapy. The remaining balance (aka copayment), is the patient's responsibility and is due in full at the time of endodontic treatment.
Please note that the copayment estimate is not a guarantee, and your insurance company will make the final payment determination once treatment is completed and we have complimentarily submitted an insurance claim on your behalf. As dental insurance is a contract between a patient (or their employer) and the insurance provider, patients are ultimately responsible for any outstanding balances.
Please contact us before your first visit with any questions regarding your insurance or the Endodontics of West Chester financial policies.
